Summer Reading Program
The Henderson County Library
plans special programs and fieldtrips
throughout the summer.
All readers have the opportunity
to win special rewards and prizes for reading
during the summer.
Please pick up the summer flyer at the front desk.
Shelf Development Club
Step 1: Read 5 days for at least 20 minutes.
Step 2: Log your dates on your reading log / bookmark.
Step 3: Present your reading log to the staff at the Henderson County Library circulation desk.
Step 4: Choose a book from the Shelf Development Club collection to keep.
**Please Note: All participants may choose one book for each visit to the library.**

Outreach
Our children's staff travels to locations within Henderson County to offer on-site Story Times, inspiring early literacy among some of our smallest citizens.
